2003
LAUGHING JACK SHIRAZ - TASTING NOTES
|
The
2003 opens with a beautifully, deep garnet colour. Aromas of black
pepper and ripe dark plums dominate the nose. Elements of eucalyptus,
mint and cedar serve as complexing components to the rich black
fruit. On the palate, a solid core of richly textured fruit is framed
by a finish of fine grained tannin and lingering spiciness. Cheers!

LAUGHING JACK SHIRAZ - TASTING NOTES
|
The
vivid bright crimson colour gives an early indication of the concentration
to be found in the 2002 vintage. Classic Barossa Shiraz aromas of
white pepper, spice and ripe plums fill the nose with accents of mint
and eucalyptus framed by sweet cedary oak. The palate is beautifully
structured with good depth and concentration of flavour and a long
finish of plush, fine grained tannins. **SOLD
